Consuela “Connie” Lynn Martin, 49, of Knox, IN, passed away surrounded by her family in Niles, MI, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, after a long battle with brain cancer.

A memorial celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. at 2224 St. Joseph St., Niles, MI. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.swemchapel.com.

Connie was born June 26, 1974, in Plymouth, IN to Danny Martin, Sr. & Sarah Loveless. Following high school, Connie was employed at a few different places, however the job she enjoyed most was working as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. With her wonderful sense of humor and bold personality, Connie was known for being her genuine authentic self, 100% of the time. Whether she was traveling throughout the country or visiting local garage sales,

Connie was able to make new friends anywhere; never knowing stranger. Her favorite times were spent being with her two sons, Zeke & Robert (whom she affectionately called “Pumpkin” & “Pooh Bear”) grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Creating memories at the pool, going fishing or playing games on her phone with them gave memories that would be cherished over many generations. Connie is survived by her parents; Sarah (Roger) Loveless & Danny, Sr. (Maxine) Martin; sons, Zeke (Sophia) Legus & Robert (Stormy) Legus both of Niles; grandchildren. Hayden, Charleigh, Harper, & Blake Legus; twin brother, Danny, Jr. (Holly) Martin; and brother, Samuel (Angie) Martin.
