SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has obtained an arrest warrant for a man wanted for his involvement in the triple stabbing incident that occurred in Silver Creek Township last night.

A three-count assault with Intent to Murder warrant has been issued for John Henry Coons, 28, from the Dowagiac area.

One of the victims – Charles Coulson, 73, is currently in critical condition at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. Shirley Coulson, 75,, is in stable condition at Lakeland Hospital. Cody Coulson, 31, refused medical treatment.

Sheriff Behnke is asking for the public’s help in locating Coons. Please do not attempt to apprehend Coons, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
