Lorraine M. Churchill, 95, of Dowagiac, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at her home. Lorraine was born on September 4, 1928, to John & Rose (Vondrak) Houser in Chicago, IL. On July 31, 1948, she married the love of her life Francis Churchill. Lorraine worked for Sears as a Retail Clerk for over 20 years prior to her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and reading mysteries. Lorraine is survived by her grandsons Jon (Sheanette) Churchill and Jacob Carlile, brothers Thomas (Josie) Houser and Ray (Eileen) Houser; daughter-in-law Susan Churchill; and son-in- law Gary Carlile. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Francis Churchill in 2018; children, Craig Churchill, Janet Carlile, Terry Churchill; parents John & Rose Houser; and daughter-in-law Pamela Churchill.
