Marianne Joy Wiliams, 86, of Cassopolis, died peacefully, Wednesday March 13, 2024, in the comfort of her family’s presence.
Her life began Nov. 14, 1937, in White Pigeon, Michigan, the second of three children born to Frank and Carolyn (Schiereck) Ogrin.

She is known for her kindness, gentleness and her unconditional love. She was known by those she loved and loved her as “Nana”.
Marianne will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Sherese Williams of Cassopolis, Sharena (Michael) Hill of Mishawaka ; one son, Brian (Dr. Vernette Carlson) Williams of Stephenson; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one brother David (Joan) Ogrin of Cassopolis and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 61 years, Marvin Roy Williams and her sister, Laurel (Ogrin) Lyn.
The family is planning a celebration of life well lived, in June 2024.
