DOWAGIAC — Just before midnight Friday, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident on M-62 near Cherry Grove in LaGrange Townships.

At approximately 11:55 p.m., Deputies were responded to a crash involving 30-year-old Hastings resident Savanna Holder, who was traveling northbound on M-62 before leaving the roadway and striking a tree.

Holder was transported to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital for her non-life-threatening injuries. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.

Assisting agencies were Dowagiac Police Department and SMCAS Ambulance. The incident remains under investigation.
