Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Hannah Donnelly is a senior on the Buchanan soccer team.

Activities: Soccer, indoor soccer and National Honor Society.

Hobbies: Coffee with friends, playing Pokemon, running and working at my job.

My favorite soccer memory: Playing Lawrence at the most insane field of all time. There were statues of animals everywhere and a legitimate lighthouse and a pond with a shark fountain and bridge and alpacas (that they let us feed) ,and we won by nine goals. It was one of the weirdest days of my life.

Awards/Accomplishments: First place championship indoor team in 2016

Advice to underclassmen: Take your time. Go to workouts. They will make you better and you’ll thank yourself those first few days of tryouts. Play indoor. Cook for team dinners. Take so many pictures and videos. Cheer for your teammates all the time. Even for the small things. Most of all, don’t take yourself too seriously. Don’t play because you love to win. Play because you love to play.

Future plans: Attending Central Michigan University’s honors college for biochemistry.

How have you been making the best of being quarantined?: I get to spend time with my baby brother. When I go away to college, I’ll miss a lot of milestones, but since I’m here now I get to watch him grow and learn new words and things every day.
