DOWAGIAC — A man has been arrested following a drug bust in Dowagiac.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team reported that Tuesday, detectives served a search warrant at an address in the 100 block of Allen Street in the city of Dowagiac.

Upon further investigation, detectives located crack cocaine, a firearm and drug paraphernalia. A 39-year-old male was arrested at the scene for possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and felony firearm. The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment on the charges.

The investigation is still on going.

Assisting with the search was the Dowagiac Police Department and Cass County felony detectives.
