I would like to endorse Kevin Young for the job of treasurer of Pokagon Township.  Kevin has served as the township’s treasurer for the past seventeen years and is by far the most organized and dedicated treasurer Pokagon Township has had in the forty-five years I have lived in Pokagon Township.  In addition to his position as treasurer on the township board, Kevin is the board appointed member of the planning commission.

Kevin brings a variety of experience to his job on the Pokagon Township board.  In addition to being his church’s treasurer, he serves as associate treasurer and director on the board of the Old Rugged Cross Foundation, is involved with the Berrien County Youth Fair, is president of the local Grange and treasurer of both the district and state Grange organizations.   Additionally, he works as office manager and bookkeeper at Shelton’s Farm Markets, having worked there for the past thirty-three years.

Kevin is civic minded, easy to work with, and at all times has the interests of his constituents at heart.  I truly believe no one could do a better job or be better suited for the position as treasurer of Pokagon Township than Kevin Young.
