It’s likely we will be voting by mail in the primary on Aug. 4 and the general election on Nov. 3. If the polls are open, you can take you absentee voter ballot to the polls and it will be voted as a regular ballot. So, there is no reason we don’t all get an absentee voter ballot and fill it out, and send it to our clerk, or take it to the polls on election day. No reason not to request to be on the permanent absentee voter application list.
If you’re in Cass County, you can do that by calling or emailing the Cass County clerk’s office and asking to be put on the permanent absentee voter application list. You will automatically be sent the application (not the ballot) before every election. You can decide if you want to apply for an AV ballot for that election. To be put on this permanent absentee voter application list, call or email the Cass County clerk (269) 445-4464, monicam@cassco.org.
If you’re in another county, go on michigan.gov/vote to find your local cerk.
Call or email her/him and ask to be put on the permanent absentee voter application list.
Vote in November!
Your vote could be the turning point for our world.
