Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Tristin Gless is a senior on the Cassopolis soccer team.

Activities: National Honors Society, SADD, 4-H, student council, FFA.

Hobbies:  Soccer, photography, makeup, ski racing, hanging out with friends.

My favorite soccer memory: My favorite soccer memory would have to be when I scored my first goal of my sophomore season. We were playing Berrien Springs, and I called for my teammate to drop me the ball and I shot the ball and it went straight over the keeper’s hands into the goal. I scored from way outside the 18-foot line.

Future plans: I will be attending Michigan State University to study kinesiology and work

towards my master’s degree for athletic training.

Awards/Accomplishments: Title of Miss Cassopolis 2020, Michigan FFA 2019 Parliamentary Procedure state champion, FFA Region 1 vice president.

Advice to underclassmen: My advice to underclassmen would be that great things come with hard work. I thought that I knew everything about soccer when I was a freshman, and looking back, I have grown so much as a player and a person. Work hard, grow, and you will achieve greatness.

How have you been making the best of being quarantined? During quarantine, I have taken time to plan out my next steps after graduation, and I have tried to take more time out of my day for my friends and family. I just really want to make the most out of being home for these last few months.
