Susan Kay McKeever, 62, of Niles, passed away at Memorial Hospital, in South Bend, on Saturday, May 23, 2020.

Susan was born on July 17, 1957, to the late Herbert and Letha (Myers) McKeever in Grand Rapids.

After graduating from Clarenceville High School in 1975 Susan went on to study Missions at Christ for the Nations. She found great joy in working to lead others to Christ.

She married Lauren Keith Oberle and was blessed with two children from their marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Letha McKeever; and her husband, Lauren Oberle.

Susan is survived by her children, Lauren Michael Oberle, of West Lafayette, Indiana, and Amber (Jerell) Johnson, of Grand Ledge, Michigan; three grandchildren, Ashanti, Amani, and Hunter; brother, Douglas McKeever, of Traverse City; and many extended family members and close friends.

Sue’s children and grandchildren were her greatest joy in life.

In keeping with Susan’s wishes, no viewing will take place and she will be interred at a private service at Mount Hope Memorial Gardens in Livonia, Michigan.
