Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Katelyn Waldschmidt is a senior on the Cassopolis soccer team.

Activities: Soccer, cross country, FFA, SADD, yearbook, 4-H, and Cassopolis Community Court.

Hobbies:  Reading and running.

My favorite soccer memory:  Sophomore year, our first win of the season was against Berrien Springs and it was pouring rain but we were so happy. We didn’t care and celebrated all the way home.

Future plans: I plan to attend Saint Mary’s College this fall. I am not sure what I want to study but I know I want to help people in the best way I can while being happy with my career.

Awards/Accomplishments: Team captain for three years, first team Southwest 10 All-Conference, first team Division 4 All-District.

Advice to underclassmen: Whether it’s a win or a loss, there is always something to learn and something to improve on.

How have you been making the best of being quarantined? Lots of homework. I have also been catching up on TV shows and books I have been meaning to read.
