Activities: Varsity soccer, varsity volleyball captain, Student Senate president, NHS officer, First Runner-up Miss Dowagiac 2020.

Hobbies:  Working out, doing makeup and drinking iced coffee.

My favorite soccer memory: Beating Edwardsburg by one point in the last several minutes. The whole team was so excited, and it was also my first game back from being injured.

Future plans: I plan to attend Grand Valley State University to study human resources management and Spanish, and I hope to work for Ulta Beauty.

Awards/Accomplishments: Second team All-Conference, second team All-Region, Academic All-State, Most Valuable Player, and honorable mention for volleyball. I’ve also received the Certificate of Academic Excellence and high honor roll.

Advice to underclassmen: Don’t take your time on the field for granted. It could get ripped away from you in a heartbeat. Even though the practices can be exhausting, you will miss it one day, so just enjoy the team that you’re fortunate to be a part of, and play your heart out, no matter what the scoreboard says.

How have you been making the best of being quarantined? I’ve been working still, doing college homework and doing lots of random things like rearranging my room.
