GALLERY: Brandywine wins BCS Red Division title

NILES — A huge second-half propelled Brandywine to the BCS Athletic Conference Red Division title Thursday night.

Deadlocked at halftime 26-26, host Brandywine outscored arch rival Buchanan 47-12 to earn a 73-38 victory. The win improved the Bobcats to 17-0 overall and 9-0 in the Red Division.

Buchanan drops to 13-5 overall and 7-2 in the Red Division.

Brandywine senior Zakiyyah Abdullah led all scorers with 22 points.
