Nadine Kaplunow, 82, of Dowagiac, passed away Feb. 5, 2020.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 20, at Clark Chapel.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Feb. 21, at Holy Maternity Catholic Church burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.          

Nadine Kaplunow was born June 14, 1937, in Wolka Nurzecka, Poland. She later moved to the U.S. where she worked for Sunstrand in Dowagiac for more than 20 years.

Nadine was a proud member of Holy Maternity Catholic Church. She also enjoyed riding her moped around town, going to flea market and spending time in garden.                   

Nadine is survived by son, Nick Kaplunow; daughter, Julie Carrell; and son-in-law, Jimmie Carrell; and sisters, Walentina and Ola.                 

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Ksenia and Bazyl Lukaszuck, Nick Kaplunow Sr.; sisters, Zenia, Maria and Nina; brothers, Aleksander, Mikolaj and Wladek.
