SOUTH BEND — Nominations are being accepted for the 2020 Michiana 40 under 40 class.

The Michiana 40 under 40 program shines the spotlight on 40 of the region’s most talented and dedicated young adults, executives, professionals and leaders who demonstrate career success and community engagement all before the age of 40.

This program is an annual collaborative effort between the South Bend Regional Chamber, Young Professionals Network South Bend and other partners and chambers in the Michiana region.

To be considered, a nominee must show proven success in their profession; invest in and serve others through involvement in civic, charitable or religious organizations; be under the age of 40 on May 29; live and work in LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke or Marshall counties in Indiana, or and Cass or Berrien counties in Michigan. They must also have lived in Michiana for two years.

A selection committee will meet in early April to determine the 2020 honorees who will be recognized at a celebration luncheon on May 29. Full criteria, tips and the nomination form are at michiana40.com. The nomination deadline is March 27.
