Debra K Crump-Krueger, 63, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, unexpectedly, but of natural causes at her home.
Debra was born on July 17, 1956, in South Bend to Vernal and Martha Freeman.
Debra had always been a physically active person. he taught aerobics for several years at the YMCA, and was a professional bodybuilder in her younger years. She held several jobs throughout her lifetime; her most treasured job was owning and operating the farm. She enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was watching her beloved hummingbirds or feeding the deer, she was the happiest outside. Debra had a kind heart and tried to do all she could for those she loved. On Nov. 8, 2008, she married Larry Krueger on her beloved farm, down by the creek.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Freeman.
Debra is survived by her father, Vern Freeman, of Tennessee; husband, Larry Krueger, of Niles; children, Amanda Jackmovich, of Pennsylvania, and Dawn Cornell, of South Bend; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Cornell Jr., Emmika Cornell, Brett Carr and Cheyenne Carr; two brothers, Ronald (Linh) Freeman, of Corona, California, and Douglas (Darlene) Freeman, of Grand Ledge, Michigan.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and she will be laid to rest on her farm.
