STEVENSVILLE ­— Visiting Niles was unable to bring home a SMAC West Division championship as Lakeshore rolled to a 49-15 win over the Vikings Wednesday night.

The Lancers won 10 out of the 14 weight classes to dominate the dual meet.

Picking up wins for Niles were Carson Landon (119), Hunter Fazi (160), Darian Sosa (189) and Caiden Smith (285).

The Vikings (12-6, 4-1 SMAC West) forfeited at 215 pounds and did not wrestle of its top wrestlers.

Niles and Lakeshore will square off again on Saturday with the rest of the SMAC as the league tournament will be at Portage Northern High School.

Wrestling is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
