DOWAGIAC — Members of the Young Professionals of Greater Dowagiac and the team from Shelly Myers and Martha Hassle Cressy & Everett Real Estate volunteered through United Way’s Rake a Difference last Friday. The day is dedicated to serving seniors, ages 60 and older, who are physically unable to perform yard work or cannot afford to pay for services.
Hundreds of area volunteers through Rake a Difference helped seniors in Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties rake and bag leaves and clean gutters. The group of volunteers from Dowagiac raked three local yards.
