NILES — Children 15 years and younger participated in the youth division of the apple pie eating contest on Sunday at the Four Flags Apple Festival. Each participant received their own apple pie. They were not allowed to use their hands and only got one minute to eat as much of the pie as they could. One contestant, Wesley, 4, of Niles, participated in the apple pie eating contest on Sunday.
