NILES — The Apple Festival grounds were alive this weekend with the area’s youngest and most energetic getting a taste of everything the festival had to offer.

As a precursor to the Apple Festival this weekend, the festival hosted a Youth Day Saturday. The event saw a trike race, the Apple Festival court prince and princess contest, and several games and activities

During the festivities, Kamdyn Stanczyk was crowned prince of the Apple Festival, and Reese Low was named Apple Festival Princess.
