DOWAGIAC — The goals keep mounting and the wins keep piling up for the No. 14-ranked Dowagiac soccer team.

The Chieftains, who entered the Wolverine Conference match with 60 goals on the year, added seven more in a 7-0 win over visiting Three Rivers Monday night.

Dowagiac (12-1, 2-0 Wolverine) led 4-0 at halftime on goals by Cole Weller, Cristian Wilson, Ben McCrory and Jose Carillo.

In the final 40 minutes, Wilson notched his second score of the night and Isaac Saavedra added a pair of goals to cap the scoring.

The Chieftains outshot the Wildcats 15-4.

Dowagiac hosts Allegan in another Wolverine Conference match Wednesday night.
