DOWAGIAC — The beat goes on for the Dowagiac soccer team.

The No. 13-ranked Chieftains continued to roll through their non-conference schedule with an 8-0 win over visiting Brandywine in a match that lasted less than 10 minutes into the second half.

Dowagiac (7-1) led 7-0 at halftime thanks to a pair of goals from Noah Green and solo scores from Matt Mosier, Henry Weller, Cristian Wilson and Isaac Saavedra.

Green’s third goal stopped the match.

The Chieftains, who host their own invitational on Saturday, outshot Brandywine 17-2.
