DOWAGIAC — The Ascension Borgess – Lee Foundation will host its 8th annual Wine and Beer Tasting Event on Saturday, Aug., 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Don and Vicary Blackmond’s Sesquicentennial Farm at Indian Lake, 55317 Indian Lake Road, Dowagiac. Funds raised from this year’s events will be used for suite upgrades and equipment at the hospital, said Beth Kripe, the event’s organizer.

Tickets for the event will be sold for $50 per person, which will include a tasting, live entertainment by Mike Struwin and Company and a souvenir wine glass. Hors d’oevres will also be served. The event is limited to 350 guests and has sold out for the past five years, said Cripe.
