NILES — Seniors Brooke Timm and Tayler Altergott were named to the SMAC All-West Division first team.

The Vikings also had six players earn honorable mention.

Timm hit .537 for the Vikings with 12 doubles, four home runs and 42 RBIs. In the circle, she was 8-4.

Altergott hit .411 with seven doubles and 25 RBIs.

Honorable mention selections were Caitlyn Daly, Aynslee Myer, Kelsey Barkman, Mya Syson, Hannah Albright and Alexa Rauch.

Daly, Myer and Albright are seniors. Rauch is a sophomore, and Syson a freshman.

Daly hit .393 with six doubles, seven home runs and 39 RBIs, while Myer hit .349 with six doubles and 27 RBIs.

Barkman hit .402 for the Vikings with three doubles and 22 RBIs. Albright hit .353 with six doubles and 26 RBIs.

Rauch had eight doubles four home runs and 19 RBIs. Syson was 9-4 in the circle for Niles. She struck out 110 batters in 85 innings and had an ERA of 2.90.
