Passed proposals include:

• Edwardsburg Public Schools passed an operating millage renewal by a vote of 668 to 259. The 18-mill levy will be assessed on non-homestead and commercial properties and will not be assessed on people’s principal residence. The 18-mill levy is expected to raise $2.1 million this year.
• Jefferson Township passed a road levy of up to 1 mill by a vote of 94 to 92. The extra money raised from the levy will be used to pay for the maintenance, upkeep, repair and construction of roads within the township. The new levy is expected to raise $122,189.11 in extra revenue this year. The owner of a $100,000 home with a taxable value of $50,000 would pay an extra $50 a year.
