Ivor Roy Andrews, 90, of Niles, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019. He was born in Trumbull, Nebraska to the late Roy Francis Andrews and Eva Mae Andrews.

Ivor is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Evelyn (Barnett) Andrews; two daughters, Becky Gallina, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Susie Ferry and husband Tom Ferry, of Eau Claire; two sons, Jay Andrews and wife Barbara Andrews, of Dearborn, Michigan and Ralph Andrews, of Richmond, Virginia; nine grandchildren, Kate Gallina McNeil and husband Ben, Frank Mitchell Gallina and wife Amber, Nicholas Ivor Gallina and wife Samantha, Thomas Ivor Ferry, Kelly Jo Ferry Severin and husband Matt, Madelyn Grace Andrews, Griffin Ivor Andrews, Bethany Kathryn Andrews, and Kelsie Mae Andrews; and nine great-grandchildren, Corrie Lu Gallina, Frank Murphy Gallina, Olivia Margaret Gallina, Mitchell Ivor Gallina, Evelyn Ann McNeil, Alison Grace Ferry, Kayla Quinn Ferry, Brody Thomas Ferry, and Abby Jo Frances Ferry.

Ivor is predeceased by his parents Roy Francis Andrews and Eva Mae (Solomon) Andrews; four sisters Helen Lind, Norma Kreutz, Wilma Rezner, Barbara Schnauber; and son-in-law Frank Gallina.

Mr. Andrews retired in 1989 as the Regional Service Manager with AC-Delco, a division of General Motors, and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Ivor volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. In addition, he enjoyed singing in the church choir.

Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Wesley United Methodist Church with Reverend Rob Snodgrass officiating.
