Kenneth R. “Kenny” Jackson, 64, of Mishawaka, passed away, Friday, April 26, 2019, at Bell Tower Nursing home in Mishawaka.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Rev. Tom Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Keeler Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday, at the funeral home. Kenny was born on May 16, 1954, in Armorel, Arkansas, to Clifton and Helen G. (Blanketship) Jackson. He graduated from Hartford High School, then went on to proudly service his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life Lucienne Juliet Conley. Kenny worked as a supervisor for Florida Natural Orange Juice for many years before his retirement. He was known as a funny guy who was great at story telling. Kenny loved his family greatly, especially his grandson, William.
Kenny is survived by his son, Kenny (Morgan) Jackson; grandson, William Jackson; siblings, Diane Jackson of Gardendale, Alabama, Judy (Bill) Bradley of Mishawaka, Brenda Moore of Dowagiac, Betty Chandler of Dowagiac, Cathy (Glen) Pasley of Bangor, Sue Costner of Bangor and Lisa Herter of Edwardsburg; best friend, Randy Bunch and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucienne Jackson and his parents, Clifton and Helen Jackson.
