NILES — Freezing rain that began falling early Tuesday afternoon forced the postponement of multiple boys and girls basketball games.

Brandywine, Cassopolis and Niles all postponed their games against New Buffalo, Bangor and Kalamazoo Central respectively before 2 p.m.

Dowagiac also postponed its home and away games with Paw Paw, while Edwardsburg postponed its home and away games with Sturgis.

The only game to be reschedule immediately was the Brandywine and New Buffalo girls and boys doubleheader.

The two schools were hoping to make those games up today starting at 6 p.m.
