MENDON — The Edwardsburg wrestling team went 5-0 to capture the Brent Stephenson Memorial at Mendon High School on Saturday.

The Eddies defeated Bloomingdale (72-6), Battle Creek Pennfield (62-12), Coloma (42-39), Dowagiac (35-33) and Battle Creek Harper Creek 52-27.

On Wednesday, Jan. 10, Edwardsburg swept a pair of Wolverine Conference matches from Plainwell and Vicksburg at the Dowagiac Quad.

Going undefeated at Mendon were Noah Tinkham (125), Jackson Hoover (135), Caden Reece (16), Dillon Hursh (189) and Drew Bidwell (215).

Posting 4-1 records on the day were Austin Peacock (130) and Jacob Reece (140).

The Eddies were back in action Wednesday as they traveled to Three Rivers for another Wolverine Conference quad.
