NOTRE DAME — The ice plant for the 2019 NHL Winter Classic arrived at Notre Dame Stadium Monday.

Crews had already been putting down the foundation on the floor of the stadium prior to its arrival. Mike Craig, the NHL’s senior manager of facilities operations, talked to the media about the process of creating ice at Notre Dame.
