Ruby Irene Williams, 86, of Wasilla, Arkansas, passed away on Dec. 1, 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Chapel — 405 Center St., Dowagiac.
Ruby was born on April 27, 1932, in Pineville, Kentucky, to the late John and Roxie (Artrip) Lewis.
On Nov. 11, 1950, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, she married George Clifford Williams; he preceded her in death on May 29, 2014.
Ruby was a faithful child of God, a member of Liberty Chapel in Dowagiac, a true ‘Lady’, and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Ruby is survived by her children — Linda (Wade) Kiggins, of Wasilla, Arkansas, Sharon (Barry) Williams-Roberts, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Diana Williams, of Mishawaka, Pamela (Jeffrey) Fritz, of LaFollette, Tennessee, and George Williams, of Decatur, 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also preceded in death by a daughter — Deborah Heron.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Liberty Chapel in Dowagiac with Pastor Mark Saylor officiating. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church from 1 to 2 p.m.. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac.
