Peytin Lee is a senior on the Dowagiac golf team.
What has been one of your greatest accomplishments as a coach?
PL: Getting my varsity letter.
What has been one of your biggest disappointments as a coach?
PL: Not being able to play the rest of my season because I hurt my leg.
Who is a “hero” in your life and why?
PL: My mom, because she is always there for me.
When are you the most nervous while you team is
competing?
PL: When my mom or coach are watching.
Describe an embarrassing athletic moment.
PL: When I fell after the match heading to Wendy’s.
What other sport would you like to coach in if you were not coaching yours?
PL: Cheerleading.
Why are sports an important part of a high school
experience?
PL: Because a sports team is like another family.
How would you give away $50,000?
PL: I would give it to charity and to the Ronald McDonald fund.
If you could be the head coach of a team for a year, what team would you choose?
PL: The swim team if we had one.
If I did not coach sports, I would…?
PL: Sing or dance.
What is the most challenging thing for you to do in your sport?
PL: Staying positive.
If you could change one rule about your sport, what would it be?
PL: I would not change any rule.
What is the best compliment you have ever received?
PL: You have and will accomplish great things.
What was the last thing you saw someone do that really impressed you?
PL: Someone helped another person who had dropped their stuff.
What is your favorite hobby? Why?
PL: Babysitting, because I love working with little ones.
