NILES — Tuesday morning volunteers from across Niles showed up to help the officials from the Niles Main Street program move holiday decorations to a storage place at the NECI building, 219 N. Fourth St. The holiday decorations were acquired recently by the Niles Main Street program. Thanks to an anonymous donor, Niles Main Street was able to purchase the decorations from Holland for $5,000. The decorations had been temporarily stored at French Paper Company’s warehouse. They were moved Tuesday to the NECI building where they will be polished and cleaned up before they are distributed throughout the downtown in late November. (Leader photos/EMILY SOBECKI)
