JONES — An Elkhart women was injured in a roll over crash in Cass County Thursday.

Sheriff Richard J. Behnke of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported that at 4:52 p.m. Thursday his deputies were dispatched to 65000 block of M-40 Hwy., Jones, in Porter Township for a one vehicle rollover personal injury accident. Deputies arrived on scene to find one vehicle upside down off the roadway in a field.

The driver of the 1999 Ford Contour Sedan was Amanda Bolen, 31, of Elkhart. Initial investigation shows that Bolen was southbound on M-40 when she lost control of her vehicle then ran off the roadway and overturned several times, landing on the roof of the vehicle.

Bolen was transported for her injuries to Three Rivers Hospital.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this accident, and seatbelts were worn during the time of the crash.
