Ed and Dawn Atkinson, of Cassopolis, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 19.

The couple married Oct. 19, 1968, at Cassopolis United Methodist Church. They continue to summer in Cassopolis, while spending their winters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Ed is the retired owner of Abstract & Title of Cass County.

Dawn is the retired gifted and talented coordinator with the Lewis Cass Intermediate School District.

Their children are Jeff (Jennifer Sloop), of St. Louis, Missouri and Brian (Luanne Atkinson), of Chicago. Their grandchildren are Eric, Aaron (Jeff and Jennifer), Joey, Owen (Brian and Luanne).
