Dowagiac outshot South Haven 11-1.

Against Aviation Academy, the Chieftains won 4-0 on a pair of goals by Henry Weller and goals by Isaac Savedra and Cole Weller.

Picking up assists on the day were Henry Weller, Cole Weller, Noah Green (2) and Jordan Simpson.

“Overall it was a good tournament,” said Dowagiac JV coach Jason Turner. “We have started to move the ball well as a team and playing actual soccer by playing the ball on the ground and not forcing the ball. Today we did a great job at swinging the ball outside, crossing and finishing with our heads.”
