PAW PAW — Jack Leman captured the Paw Paw Harvest Festival Invitational on Tuesday.
Leman helped the Edwardsburg boys team to a fifth-place finish.
Kalamazoo Central won the overall boys title with 60 points.
Kalamazoo Home School was runner-up with 65 points, while Mattawan was third with 87.
The Eddies finished with 161 points and Niles placed seventh with 185 points.
Leman ran a time of 17:14 to defeat Dowagiac’s Shawn Little, who was second with a time of 17:38.
In the girls potion of the meet, Mattawan was the overall winner with 46 points and Niles was second with 62 points.
The Vikings’ Kaylee Thompson finished second with a time of 21:07.
Edwardsburg’s top runner was Chloe Bartz, who placed eighth with a time of 23:27.

EDWARDSBURG — The Eddies improved to 10-1 on the season and opened up the Wolverine Conference portion of the schedule with a victory over Allegan.
Lat Friday, Edwardsburg swept Lakeshore in a non-conference match 25-11, 25-12 and 25-9.
Jocelyn Hack led the team with 10 kills, while Skye Leach had seven kills. Brooke Allen finished with four kills and Claire Alby three kills.
Leach also had a team-high eight digs. Megan Gallagher had six digs, while Alby and Allen both finished with five digs.
Alby had 26 setting assists for the Eddies.
Tuesday night, Edwardsburg defeated Allegan 25-8, 25-12 and 25-13.
Leach finished the night with 11 kills and 10 digs, while Anna Hall and Skyelar Birlingham both had seven kills. Hack finished with six kills.
Defensively for the Eddies, Gallagher had 18 digs, Leach, Alby nine digs and Allen five digs.
Edwardsburg is now 10-1 overall and 1-0 in the Wolverine Conference.

PAW PAW — Visiting Edwardsburg dropped a 5-3 Wolverine Conference decision to Paw Paw in tennis action Monday.
The Eddies picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, as well as, No. 3 doubles.
Gabe Detweiler defeated Ben Hulst 6-2 and 6-4 at No. 2 singles, while Dakota Emerson defeated London Emmons at No. 4 singles 6-1 and 6-1.
Noah Taulbee and Harrison Smith teamed up at No. 3 doubles to defeat Paw Paw’s Reese Gollsek-Wisser and Calvin Johnson 6-3 and 6-2.
