NILES — The Region IV Area Agency on Aging will teach about how residents can avoid being a victim to fraud.

The presentation will take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at the First Presbyterian Church, 13 S. 4th Street, in Niles.

This presentation is free and open to the public. The information will be ideal for those who have questions about how to protect themselves from fraud.

Some of the things that will be covered will include precautions against Medicare fraud, how to read a Medicare Summary Notice, latest fraud events and what to do if a person is a victim of Medicare fraud.
