By noon Friday, a small table outside the Dowagiac Shell station was picked almost bare, leaving behind only a few stray cookies and cupcakes. But this was a good thing, according to those who were supervising the table.

The Dowagiac Equestrian Team hosted a bake sale Friday to raise money for its upcoming season, which had its first meet this weekend. Money raised from the sale will aid the team in paying registration fees during districts, and potentially regionals.
