Update: Six arrested in drug raid

PORTER TOWNSHIP — Cass County detectives Friday found heroin, methamphetamine, paraphernalia, money, two firearms and other items indicating that the sale of methamphetamine was taking place in a Porter Township residence.
At an arraignment at the Cass County Courthouse on Monday, six people were charged, including Joshua Webb for possession of meth and maintaining a drug house; Yvonne Jensen for possession of meth; Gary Myers for maintaining a drug house, possession of heroin, conspiracy to receive stolen property less $200 and receiving stolen property less $200; Robert Crawford for controlled substance delivery/manufacture — meth, possession of meth, possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, maintain a drug house, four counts of felony firearm, conspiracy to receive stolen property more then $200 and receiving stolen property; Stanley McKnight for possession of meth and Kenneth Burrington for possession of meth.
On Friday, the Cass County Drug Enforcement team detectives executed a search warrant in the 15000 block of Guyer Street in Porter Township. It was issued on suspicion that the sale of methamphetamine was occurring at that location and that stolen property may also be located there.
A search of the property was conducted and six people were detained: three male subjects were located in the residence, one of which was found hiding in a well pit. One female subject was located in a tent in the woods, just north of the residence. There was a male subject located living in the bed of a pickup truck and another male was located living in a large shed on the property.
Once all subjects were detained, detectives continued searching the property.
Detectives searched the main residence and located methamphetamine paraphernalia in the well pit and the master bedroom. Detectives also located heroin and heroin paraphernalia in another bedroom.
Detectives searched the truck one subject was living in and located methamphetamine, along with some paraphernalia. The large shed was searched and detectives located methamphetamine, money, two firearms and items indicating that the sale of methamphetamine was taking place. The tent just north of the residence in the woods was searched as well and methamphetamine paraphernalia was located there. In addition, detectives located several stolen items that were located on the property as well.
These subjects were lodged in the Cass County Jail on their respective charges.
