Berrien County voters opt to renew Brandywine millage

NILES — Brandywine Community Schools’ operating millage was renewed in Berrien County, according to unofficial results from electionreporting.com.

The proposal will allow the school district to continue to levy not more than 18 mills on all property within the school district, except principal residence and other property exempted by law.

The currently authorized millage rate of 20.5916 mills was renewed in Berrien County with 383 voters voting to approve the renewal, and 155 Berrien County voters voting against the renewal. Results in Milton Township in Cass County were unavailable as of press time.
