BUCHANAN — What happens when the city of Buchanan turns Front Street into a 550-foot water slide?

People grab their inner tubes and rocket downhill in a giant splash.

This was the scene from Thursday through Saturday as people from across Michiana visited Buchanan for the third annual summer Thrill on the Hill. Thousands were expected to attend the three-day event, which included the slide, live music, duck racing and an Adult Luau Party. Proceeds from the event will help to support the Buchanan Parks Department.
