Lewis Cass Intermediate School District social worker Michelle Kaminski (left), on behalf of Cass County Youth Council, July 19, delivered 144 adult toothbrushes to Southwestern Michigan College’s Roadrunner Kitchen. Sigma Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s food and toiletries pantry served 25 to 35 students a week for eight weeks from February-April on the second floor of the Dale A. Lyons Building on the Dowagiac campus. It is in the process of moving to Fred Mathews Library, a more accessible location and more convenient for Director of Library Services Colleen Welsch (right), PTK co-advisor. The Youth Council champions safe sleep and dental health. In addition to a major donation of more than $3,500 from Cass County 100+ Women Who Care, Educational Talent Search’s recent Community Service Camp sponsored a car wash to benefit the pantry.  (Submitted photo)
