DOWAGIAC — Identical twins Amy Sherman and Julie Peebles, known as The Mickeys, are returning to Dowagiac’s Summer Concert Series this Thursday.

When they first appeared in Dowagiac, their blend of Americana, country and folk made them an immediate audience favorite, said Summer Concert Series organizers. They are known throughout west Michigan for their unique acoustic sound with powerful harmonies and heartfelt lyrics, they added.

Shaded lawn-chair seating is available at the concert, located this year at the James E. Snow Professional Building at Main & Front streets. The fine arts series has been underwritten this year by Chemical Bank, Cass County Council on Aging and Honor Credit Union.
