EAST LANSING — Coloma scored six runs over the final two innings to rally for a 7-6 victory over Millington to win the Division 3 state softball championship Saturday.

The title was the first for the Comets, who captured the Buchanan regional the previous Sunday.

Coloma used both its pitchers — Jaidyn Hutsell and Skylar Crisenberry to shut down Millington, Hutsell came on in the seventh inning to close out the game.

Hutsell was 2-for-4 at the plate for Coloma with a pair of doubles and two RBIs.
