I am honored to be one. Many great students that I looked up to as a younger kid were in the top 10and it’s cool that I am one of them too.
How do you feel you earned the title?
Through hard work and determination, I earned this title. I never got lazy and let my grades slip, and I always held myself to a standard.
What college, trade school or future endeavor do you plan on pursuing after you graduate? If you will attend a college or trade school what do you plan on studying and why?
I am going to the University of Michigan to study engineering.
What’s your advice to next year’s freshmen?
I would tell them that they can have it all. They can play sports, work, going to clubs, and be a great student if they just keep working hard.
What was your favorite part of your high school career?
My favorite part about high school would be the extracurricular activities that come with it. This includes things like Key Club, Student Senate, National Honors Society, and all the sports I played.
Outside of school what are some other accomplishments you are proud of achieving?
I am proud of my high school basketball team. We won two conference championships, one district championship, and I was awarded captain my senior year along with all conference honorable mention. My teams turned the basketball program around for the school and made us the team to beat.
