CASSOPOLIS — Like its neighboring communities, the Village of Cassopolis celebrated fallen military officials with a parade through downtown Monday. Parade units included the Ranger marching band, local businesses, Miss Cassopolis and her court of honor, little league teams, and even Nellie the bloodhound with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department. After the parade, the local VFW hosted a ceremony to recognize fallen heroes.
