CASS COUNTY — May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In honor of this, Woodlands will host a Mental Health Awareness Fair from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18, in the parking lot across the street from its main building at 960 M60 E., Cassopolis.

This event will feature multiple informational booths by a variety of community partners, who along with Woodlands, work to address the mental health and related wellness needs of Cass County residents.

The event will also include games and activities for children, speakers every half hour who will address a different mental health, substance use disorder, developmental concern, and/or related wellness topic.

Items uniquely crafted by individuals served by Woodlands will also be available for sale.

Woodlands will participate in the Cassopolis Memorial Day Parade to further call attention to the benefits of good mental health.

The community is invited to join for a fun and informational day.
