Drive-by shooting investigation in Ontwa Township

ONTWA TOWNSHIP — At 4:06 p.m. on Monday, May 14, officers responded to a possible drive-by shooting in the area of May Street, west of Adamsville Road. Chief Douglas Westrick of the Ontwa Township – Edwardsburg Police Department reports that there were no injuries.

Officers arrived on scene and were advised by a citizen that he was out by the roadway when a white male subject driving a newer black Ford sedan pointed the handgun out the window and fired Two shots in the direction of the complainant. The vehicle continued past the house westbound before turning around and headed eastbound back towards Adamsville Road.

The white male driver is described as late 30s to early 40ss wearing a baseball cap and a gray Chicago Cubs shirt.
